On Wednesday morning, a group of Year 5s and 6s visited the Leeds Liverpool canal for a canoeing event. We were split into groups and got straight onto the water. After a short demonstration, we were off! We paddled for around 45 minutes, showing a lot of team building and cooperation to fix any issues we encountered (like how to turn a boat stuck in weeds!) Before finishing, we fit in time for a quick splash-off and ended the morning with some very soggy children and adults! A lot of fun was had by everyone, and we were all grateful to have the opportunity to go.
