Team values at Lawns Park Primary School

At Lawns Park, our school values are the names of our school teams. Every child belongs to a team from the day they start at our school. Each team has an animal mascot. These were voted for by all of the children in school on the same day as the 2024 General Election. The vote followed a campaign involving numerous animals which was run by the school council. Children earn counters for their team by displaying examples of Perseverance, Positivity, Politeness and Patience. The counters are added to a collaborative jar which collects the counters of all team members for the whole school. These are totalled each week and announced on a teams display board. Ultimately, the team with the highest number of counters over the year will lift the Lawns Park team trophy!
