Each year group undertook a STEM workshop using Lego WeDo resources which enable a wide range of ages to access the activities. Older pupils enjoyed experimenting with an adaptable programming APP and built amazing models. Our younger children explored the models through play at their own level.

The Junior Stem expert explained the main skills an engineer should have and gave us an small insight into the great variety engineering jobs that are available. The children were made aware of the demand for the skills they learnt and the opportunities for a career in Engineering or programming (or both as a robotics engineer) and the importance of science and maths knowledge to support these subjects.
