Year 1

Welcome to the Year 1 class page!

On our class page you will find key information, updates and resources to support your children's learning.

We also love to celebrate the amazing things that will be happening in our classroom! Each week we will be sharing photos, highlights and recognition awards to showcase the efforts and creativity of our class. Check back regularly to see what we have been up to - we can't wait to share our learning journey with you all!

Aut 2 Week 6 – This week in year 1 we have been doing lots of amazing learning! In our writing we have been writing a twist on a tale (Hansel and Gretel). In Maths, we have been looking at subtraction, using lots of practical resources around the classroom to help.
In History, we have been looking at old and new toys, we even got to look at an artefact box from a local museum.

Our favourite part of the week was the Nativity! We all worked so hard to learn our songs and lines. What a great week we have had in Y1!
