Homework is set on a Thursday to be completed by the following Tuesday.

Activity 1: Three reads!

Reading books will come home each day. A library book will come home at the end of each week. Complete your 3 x 15-minute reads. Comment in your reading record and ask an adult to sign it off. Return it to school every day. Remember, 3 reads = a TrackIt point and you will receive another TrackIt point for any additional reads you complete! During the school day, if you read for 15 minutes, you can write this down in your reading record and it will count as one of your 3 reads!

Activity 2:

Keep logging onto TTRockstars and practising your times tables! We will all become times table wizards in no time! By the end of Year 4, children should know all the times tables (1-12) up to 12x the number. Times tables are incredibly important for us to master!

This week, make sure you complete your 8 minute Garage session.

Activity 3: Spellings.

Our spelling focus is to spell words containing the prefixes 'il', 'im, and 'ir'.

Stage 4, List 3:

Learn these spellings for our Friday spelling test by completing your homework (which is set on a Thursday to be completed and handed in by the following Tuesday).

You can use the Spelling Shed link below to practise your spellings. Just type in the stage and list number.

Play a game to practise your spellings....
