• Lawns Park win big at cross country event

  On Thursday night our cross country team participated in a West Leeds wide event at Farnley Academy. Everyone did their very best in tough conditions. A big well done to Tara in year four who won her event and Mateusz who came a very close second.  Go Team Lawns Park!

• Promoting British values

  This week our Year One class will be visiting Leeds Minster for an afternoon workshop. They will be finding out about how Christians worship and how the Minster is used to do this. We are very grateful to the team at the Minster for welcoming us.

• Improving our local community

  We have been invited by the park ranger to join their team in Farnley park this week. Year three and year four will be taking part in a woodland workshop on Tuesday. One of the activities is a mass bulb plant, which we will see the impact of next Spring. 

• A splashing time at Yeadon Tarn

  Year three had a splashing time at Yeadon tarn last week. The children had to get out of their comfort zones and take on a number of personal challenges. The one they enjoyed the most was standing up in their kayaks and jumping into the water! It is Year fives turn this week.

  

• Our children are looking SMART and PROUD in school shoes. We have 100% of our children wearing black, leather school shoes. Many Thanks parents and carers for your support.

• Stunning Stone Age Day

  Otzi travelled from the ancient Stone Age, bringing his artefacts through time with him. Our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils were thrilled to go hunting mammoths, learn stone age survival skills and build stone age tools.
