  • Year five learning assembly Thursday 9.55 am

    Year five will be sharing this terms learning with parents at 9.55 am in the school hall. Parents and Carers welcome.
  • KeyStage one multisports team are going to wear our sports kit with pride

    We are entering our first KeyStage One sports participation event of the year this week. It is a proud  moment for our learners, when they get to put on the Lawns Park Sports kit and represent our school
  • Safeguarding workshops Y5/Y6

    This week year five and year six will participate in three workshops, delivered by a local charity called "Just enough". They will learning about modern day slavery, county lines and knife crime. All important topics that the child need information about, in order to make their decisions, about how to keep themselves and their friends safe.
  • Cuppa and a chat with Mrs Miles

    Mrs Miles is starting a new parents drop in session in our conservatory. Parenting is THE most difficult job we will ever do and the best support comes from fellow parents. So why not call in for a cuppa and a chat  and share your experiences to support others in a friendly and supportive way. Sessions start on Tuesday 26th November at 9 am. Toddlers and babies are welcome. 
  • Football tournament

    Our KS2 football team came third in their qualifying group in the 'Road to Wembley' tournament. They won one game, drew two and lost one - all against teams that were older than themselves. The boys have done themselves very proud! Well done to all involved! Go team Lawns Park!
  • Dodgeball success tonight!

    Our year three and year four dodgeball team have  come second in the West Leeds Dodgeball tournament this evening. Well done team Lawns Park. Coach Mr Brown said the team were determined to be successful this evening and showed fantastic team work. We are very proud of them!
  • Sinai synagogue

    Year three are looking forward to their trip next week to the Sinai synagogue in Leeds. This will bring to life the learning about Judaism, that they are currently studying. We are very grateful to the synagogue for warmly welcoming us!
  • Keeping safe out and about

    This half term, across school, in line with our school ethos, our theme in PSHE is Safety. Each class will be identifying  potential risks and exploring safe solutions. Topics covered include bullying, keeping safe out and about, when things go wrong, feeling safe and playing safe. All learning is based upon real life situations with our intention of equipping our pupils to manage their safety the best way possible. Year six are covering some challenging situations and developing their knowledge of the risks they may come, face to face with, when out and about in their community.
