• NSPCC Sparkle day

  Today we sparkled for the NSPCC. Altogether we raised £146.70 for the NSPCC. If you want to know more about how the money will be spent, please visit nspcc.org.uk/about.

  Watch out for our next fundraiser for the NSPCC which is a number day in February 2020.

• NSPCC sparkle day

  This year the NSPCC is Lawns Park's chosen charity. The NSPCC have been into school this year, to work with our children, to help them to keep themselves and others safe in a variety of contexts. As professionals we use the support and guidance that the NSPCC provide everyday to safeguard our pupils. As a way of giving back we will be having a sparkle day on the last day of term. On this day the children are encouraged to come to school in a a sparkly jumper/T-shirt. This can be a Christmas one or any T shirt/jumper with  with a bit of sparkle attached. We will have buckets about for a voluntary contribution, all of which will be donated to the NSPCC.

• No after school clubs next week. Week beginning 16th September 2019

  There will be no after school clubs next week as we have a busy week of festivities. Clubs start back week beginning 6th January 2020.

• SEND Sports team have success at Kurling

  This week our SEND sports team were out on tour. They participated in a Kurling event at Pudsey leisure centre. As True Lawns Parkers, they wore the red jumper with pride and gave 100% effort throughout the event. It is fair to say we were the best team there! Go Team Lawns Park!

• Year 3 times table club

  Today marked the beginning of Mr Brown's times table club at lunchtimes. This will be taking place every lunchtime (except Tuesdays) in the Year 3 classroom from 12:15-12:45. Feel free to come along and practise your speed and accuracy! 

• Christmas fair

  On Tuesday we will be holding our annual Christmas fair. Each class will be selling a product, that they have made in Design Technology. There will also be refreshments on sale and a visit from a very special man in red.
